NATIONAL CENTER for DIGITAL CERTIFICATION – SAUDI ARABIA


The Electronic Transactions Law was issued by Royal Decree No. (M / 18) dated 3/8/1428 AH with the aim of organizing the use of digital transactions, signatures, indicating their binding authority. The Electronic Transactions Law assigned the task of supervising the certification and digital signature to a national centre established in the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology under the name “National Centre for Digital Certification”.
In 1440 AH the Minister of Communications and Information Technology issued a decision to transfer the National Centre For Digital Certification to the e-government program “Yesser”.
